INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA–8 people got arrested on Indianapolis’ northeast side .
Thousands of dollars in drugs were confiscated during the drug bust.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department together with Indiana State Police and several other specialty units were serving as a search for warrants at two homes located at the 2800 block of N.Gladstone Avenue on August 9.
A money of amount of $16.600 in cash was detected in one of the homes.
Besides the money, detectives found following drugs : 20 pounds of Synthetic Cannabis/Spice,6 pounds of Marijuana,10 grams of Heroin, 50 pills of ecstacy,as well as electronic scales, 2 vehicles, and 3 loaded handguns .
One of which was determined to be stolen.
Detectives arrested 8 people of ages from 23 to 35.
Chester Irons,27 , Nykia Thigfen,23, and Jaquan Irons ,23, were charged with dealing /possession of synthetic cannabis, marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, as well as neglect of a child.
Gabriel West and Raven Faulkner were also among arrested. They were preliminary charged with visiting a common nuisance.
The youngest among arrested of 20 years old ,Travon Mays was also charged with visiting a common nuisance.
The Marion County Prosecutor will review the case and accordingly, make decisions of charging.
