BMW is a pretty great car company. They own up to their mistakes. Additionally, they also create reliable products, such as cars, motorcycles and wristwatches. Lastly, BMW is planning on showing their BMW iNext. This is supposedly a major deal, as before this, the German automaker has been way too slow to selling their all-electric vehicles. This has been true since the launch of the i3. So because it’s been so slow, being that the Mini Cooper SE Electric and the BMW iX3 electric SUV did not sell all that well. But the iNext seems to be the solution. Not only is it the spiritual rival that Tesla has been waiting for,
The Mini Cooper SE Electric was going through launch with no electric powertrain, unlike what the BMW iNext was installed with.
The head of marketing and sales, Ian Robertson, believes in BMW. And you can tell because of Tesla and their inability to properly produce Model 3s in large volume. The iNext is really the next best competitor to Tesla.
So when’s the iNext coming, BMW? Next?
BMW is planning on showing off the production version of the iNext on November 11th. In a press release, they’ve has made it known that it will be visible at 2:00 pm (CET) through the link here. There’s not much known about the iNext. What does exist are executives talking about a range of 435 miles. It’s hopeful that the iNext will go into production at the Dingolfing plant in 2021.
The iX3 electric SUV is never going to come to the USA. Specifically because their dealerships had no interest in the electric SUV’s limiting reach.
