The drift car racing world is one of the more strange aspects of racing. This is due to the natural tendencies that driving with drift kind of presents when weird wackos are behind the wheel. There are plenty of vehicles that keep on churning, but as of recent, there’s been quite an upset around certain artists. Is it because there’s a Nissan Silvia. And it looks like it’s from the 1980s but it’s actually from the 2000s. And whats more, this retro-fit drift car operates on an optimum Mazda four-rotor engine.
Enter Tetsuya Hibino. And he happens to be a bit of a celebrity. The dude is making dreams come true by using his YouTube Channel for good. By posting vlogs on him and his drift dreams.
Hibino is a true pioneer in that he’s been able to run with all sorts of wild cars in D1. Regardless of what their weight and power has been, it still goes forth with a much grip as possibe. The Honda S2000 has a big-boost of a Toyota 2JZ. On top of that, Hibino found himself driving those drift cars rather than cowering in fear from them. Whichi is an accomplisment in itself.
Just to show Hibino and his past experience in drift racing, here is a relevant video on his skillset. Notice how he doesn’t get into any sort of accident here. It’s all looking pretty wacky by the way they put so much energy in a stock car situation. It’s both admirable and scary to see in drift. But a revolutionary change. A welcome alternative to what people thought was normal.
Here is a totally different and recent video in which Hibino is accepting an award for perfecting the drift. Now, isn’t that something so nice? Best to be proud of this progress..
